Total dried fig production in 2017/2018 reached 135,400 metric tons following the increasing trend observed throughout the last decade.

Both in 2017/2018 and on average over the last 5 years, Turkey and Iran were the top of dried figs, amounting to 71% and 72% of the world production, respectively.
